I don't click on links in emails or web ads that I don't trust. My only experience with it so far was setting up a Vista pre-installed PC for my pastor, getting it hooked up and working on Cox with a router and modem. I don't remember it being that different, but I play with a lot of Linux distros, so a slightly different gui didn't throw me off. No problems with any of the hardware involved. I've been advising my nontech friends to go ahead and buy Vista, just make sure they get at least 2gigs of ram. Sounds like 7 will be an even easier recommend. I’m clueless on Vista.
